TriLite appoints Mario Spiegl as CEO to drive next phase of growth

Outgoing CEO Dr. Peter Weigand transitions to advisory role

Vienna, Austria – September 24, 2025 – TriLite, the world’s leading provider of laser beam scanner (LBS) display technology for augmented reality (AR) and automotive applications, today announced that Mario Spiegl will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer effective October 1, 2025. Spiegl, a seasoned executive with more than 15 years of international leadership experience in consumer electronics and automotive supply chains, previously held senior roles at Foxconn, Knowles, and NXP. He succeeds Dr. Peter Weigand, who will transition to an advisor role supporting the company’s ongoing fundraising activities and investor relations.

Mario Spiegl, who has served as TriLite’s Chief Commercial Officer since January 2025, will continue to oversee sales and marketing while broadening his remit to lead the company’s global strategy, investor engagement, and organizational development. To strengthen commercial execution, TriLite is also creating a new position, Director of Commercial Operations, to support Spiegl and accelerate market traction.

“Being given the opportunity to serve as CEO of TriLite is both humbling and exciting. I want to thank Peter for his outstanding leadership in building TriLite into the company it is today. “I would like to thank TriLite’s shareholders and team for their outstanding support and everything we have achieved together.
